I signed up for service, just basic service with a Windows desktop, to try it out. What ensued was red flags everywhere, so I quit within 10 minutes.Trying to log into the control panel, and click on any of the items, got a P100 error. Support wasn't available via email, only a broken, basic chat app. It wouldn't allow me to attach images, or scroll back to see what the rep had said. I confirmed the email address, for support, wrote to it, and had all my messages bounce back to me.Quit directly afterwards, within their '30 day moneyback' window. I don't need that kind of trash added to my life.

This company Rocks! I have no idea why we have so many bad reviews.I have 4 domains hosted here - one vps. VPS - u can't get any better for the money. Bandwith is solid! Forget about el cheapo 10 or 100Mbps. This basic vps is in 500mbps on average.For 10 bucks? Can't go wrong. Customer support is great to me. They resolved an issue fast. I did find a glitch in theirs system - did let them know -0 looks fixed now. Only had one hickup with them - after cancelling a windows vps that was showing under new contract i had no idea about - still got billed for windows licence - it was a glitch - they know about it. Most of billing is generated automatically thus please be careful what options u choose when signing up. Go through all options and mark what u need - otherwise yes they will bill u for all that was checked at checkout. :P

The hosting itself isn't bad, but the customer services options are dreadful. They don't even have a ticketing system for support items. It's 2018 - I shouldn't have to call an 800 number to get a simple item completed. What a waste of my time. If there was a way to take care of customer service requests without having to call their 800 number, I would give 5 stars. Get it together.

Never done business with them and never will looking at all the negative comments and experience. Got charges from this company on my CC. Just got off a call disputing those charges with chase. Note sure how they get hold of your CC info and charge you if you never done business with them. Obviously something is not right with this company or the way it operates....

I tried to sign up to SFTP.Instead they signed me up for web hosting. When I called for customer service, they sounded so quiet it was like they were on the other side of a mountain and the woman barely spoke English. I honestly couldn't understand what she was saying, and decided to just cancel and give up.

This is the worst website hosting service ever! They have the most unknowledgable people working on their staff. For some reason my website kept saying access denied and they kept saying its malicious malware from my site. They did nothing to help me, after I got my site live again 2x. It happened again. I spoke with the technical support team, His name was Mike. I expressed that this was the third time I am calling and nothing is fixed. He kept talking over me and he billigerently hung up the and kept talking over me. He was disgusting. I called back to ask for a superviser to report him and the representative kept trying to prevent me to speaking with one & kept offering a free service. This is the most unprofessional staff I have ever experienced ever. You better off going with siteunderground, bluehost or godaddy. The worst stay far away!

Never use this company......ever! I canceled my service with them, received an email confirmation of cancellation. A while later I receive a letter from a collection company looking for double the payment of what my service would be from 1&1. Star away, they are crooks.

Please be warned that 1&1 is a total disaster of a company and you will deeply regret signing up with them. I signed up for their web services and they started enrolling and billing me for programs I never signed up for. Their customer service was terrible. I cancelled the services and they kept reaching into my PayPal account billing me for cancelled services. I filed a BBB complaint and a complaint with the PA Office of Attorney General in order to resolve the matter. I thought I was done with them until I received a email saying they were trying to access my account again. Thank God I restricted them from my PayPal account. They are absolute total scammers and among the worst companies I have ever used. Please be warned....they are the worst and absolutely horrible!!
