We have been working with Acorn for at least a year or so now. Our last challenge we gave them was to figure out if a certain OTA was giving us what we were paying for and after hours of work Lisa and her team gave us the proof we needed to make our decision. We enjoy working with the team at Acorn they are always willing to take on a challenge and help with our needs.

I am writing as the owner of Eagle Rock Lodge (Bed and Breakfast on the McKenzie River in Oregon). We have been working with Acorn Internet Services on and off for many years - starting almost 20 years ago in Hancock NH, when we owned the Hancock Inn. Most recently we engaged Acorn Internet Services to create a new website for the property we acquired in Aug of 2015, Eagle Rock Lodge. Acorn Internet Services did an amazing job (and, of course, we engaged a professional lodging photographer, which is super important) and business immediately increased! For the first two years we signed up for Acorn University and learned a lot through the various online seminars. In 2018 we decided to upgrade and become an Advantage Plan member - WOW - they are so on top of things! We were assigned a project manager (Theresa) - and have had easy access to Lisa, Annie and anyone else who can best answer one of our questions! Lisa is the owner and is very hands on - she does tons of research and is always willing to hand hold a client (as frustrating as some of us can be). My husband and I learn something during every teleconference/phone call or whatever! In this day and age it's so important to have a compelling website - and Acorn Internet Services has helped ensure that we do - and by joining their Advantage Plan program we are learning more and more about how to stay competitive in this ever changing marketplace!Feel free to check out our website (built 2 years ago) to see some great work! Acorn has been our primary marketing partner since we bought our B&B in 2015. Without them, we would not have our strong internet presence, nor would we really understand how to measure the effectiveness of our various marketing efforts. We have - and will continue to - recommended them to everyone who asks about web site design and marketing support.

A year ago I noticed that the bookings at my bed & breakfast were decreasing. I also had several guests tell me they had a hard time finding my website on Google. My website developer suggested that Acorn Internet Services might offer some help. I learned that there are many different options for services and I decided to be a "do it yourself" client and joined Acorn University to learn what I needed to know about web presence and building my business back up in our always changing digital world. Going into the University I had no idea I would learn so much and be offered so many resources. After about 6 months participating in the University I decided to sign up for one of the Advantage Plan Services because they offer even more in depth recommendations and support. Every staff member I have interacted with is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful & responsive to questions and challenges. From what I've learned through the "University" & Advantage Plan I've succeeded in moving my website listing from page 5 on Google to page 1 AND increasing my bookings. I'm a perfect case of I didn't know what I didn't know and now thanks to Acorn I am informed and making successful & profitable business decisions.

We've been with Acorn-IS since 2016 when we contacted them regarding a new website. We looked at several web development services for our website but were ultimately sold on Acorn not only for their development of outstanding performing and beautiful websites but because of the ongoing services that are available as a client. From the first call from Lisa K (owner) to discuss our project to the final call from Keri (Project Manager) letting us know that we were going live, the level of service and enthusiasm for our project was above and beyond. They are creative and suggestive (without being pushy) in what needs to be done, always leaving us feeling like we were a true team in pursuit of a big win..and wow did we win! We immediately received a huge bump in reservations once the site was released---it was like night and day-- and I truly feel like they helped us re-boot our business. Their extended marketing and educational services are above reproach. We've been a part of Acorn University since the beginning and the amount of knowledge coming from this team is unmatched. There is no way even an above average marketer on their own can keep track of the rapidly changing environment---we would honestly be lost without them. I don't have time to run this business and try to find, never mind understand, the changes with google, online booking sites, etc. Through Acorn University and in conjunction with their service plans, we are kept current with industry changes, our website is updated as needed as a result of google changing it's mind--again--and we are taught to handle as much as we want to take on! So if you're looking for a company to help you take care of and grow your business, you don't need to look any further than Acorn-IS. Their pricing is extremely reasonable for the services you receive, the service levels from the entire team from Sales to Development to Support is extraordinary to work with....you will not be disappointed with your choice by going with Acorn-IS.

I have been with Acorn for all of my thirteen years in the Bed and Breakfast business. I’ve seen and heard so many other Innkeepers with other Internet service companies do nothing but complain. So after 12 1/2 years, I’m very satisfied with Acorn. I purchased a Turn-Key Bed and Breakfast in Hershey PA in 2005 which had no bookings on the books. I switched to Acorn Internet Services right away and have never looked back. Acorn has always done a phenomenal job on my Web Designs always keeping me up to-date!! My business grew from 0% occupancy to 61% over the years.As of Nov 2017 I sold 1825 Inn Bed and Breakfast for three times what I paid for it, Acorn-Is had a lot to do with that. I have now purchased a property in Milton DE, renovated it and will have a 4 Room Bed and Breakfast with a Wedding Venue. And who will be doing all my Internet Marketing and Web Design, of course Acorn-is, Mansion Farm Inn, Milton DEThanks to Acorn University – I have been with Acorn University from the beginning and it has always grown my business every year. As an Innkeeper it is hard to get away from your inn but thanks to Acorn for everything they do and have taught me, I’ve never missed their excellent webinars no matter where I am….. I can do 8-10 weeks of vacation every year!As long as I have my new Inn, Acorn will be my Internet provider and teacher. The money I have saved over the years from listening, learning and executing for my business is invaluable…….. Thank You Acorn Staff!!!

We recently made the decision to move to Acorn for a new website and for marketing assistance, and we are so happy we did. I was very nervous about how everything would work and whether there would be significant downtime during the transition, but everything went smoothly and the transition was seamless. There is an incredible wealth of knowledge at Acorn and a true desire to help the bed and breakfast industry. Lisa, a co-owner of Acorn, is passionate about helping her clients, and the B&B industry as a whole, navigate the ever-changing laws, regulations and marketing challenges affecting the industry. This passion and dedication is apparent in her staff as well. For our website, we were assigned a project manager who provided us with a detailed overview of the process so we knew what information was needed and what to expect at each phase. Michele was our project manager and she was exceptional. She kept everything moving, answered our questions (which were numerous), and got the right people involved when needed. We went live with our new website in early December 2018 and we cannot be happier. As for marketing, we have learned so much in our short time with Acorn. With the information, training, and guidance from Acorn, we are putting together a marketing plan that has already produced results. We are learning that there is some trial and error in putting together a marketing plan—not everything will work and there needs to be tweaking, but with the tools and guidance provided by Acorn, we are able to monitor our marketing efforts and make changes as we go along. In this ever-changing world in which we live (I think that’s a song), I am sure our marketing plan will be constantly evolving, but it is comforting to know that Acorn is there to help us along the way. Thank you Acorn (Lisa, Mark, Michele, Annie, Will, Pam, Brandi—and everyone else involved in making our transition a success) for helping us get on the right track.
