Feedback:

The huge guy I met with looked like he had eaten the web developer but I was very pleased with the service. Ran several versions by me and really did exactly what I wanted at a reasonable rate. I would use them again. thanks

I want to personally thank each of you for all you have done for my business since 2007. Your website made my business number 1 in Shreveport/ Bossier City and I would not have attained the success that I had without your help.

Feedback:

We have worked with Ambitious Web for over a decade. They built a very complex system that powers not only our website but is the eCommerce engine responsible for a big portion of our business. Marilyn and her staff have been the only ones to exceed our expectations by understanding the scope of our needs, matching it with an experienced programming and design staff, and delivering within the stated time frame. It’s rare to have the business owner available on speed dial and always accessible – but that’s one thing that keeps me loyal to Ambitious Web. I have recommended them to my colleagues and would continue to.

Feedback:

We have worked with Ambitious Web for many years. We were referred to them by an acquaintance and are so happy to finally find a company that could not only work on our existing system, but rework it and add many more features, all while keeping our current site up with no interruptions to our services!! We have had ZERO DOWN TIME and excellent support from not only Marilyn the owner, but all of her staff! They are always patient in assisting us with everything, even our own system! They speak to us in lay terms making it easy to understand what she is recommending to us. Marilyn, the owner, truly cares about each of her clients. We not only have her cell number; we also have her home number. It is very comforting having someone that knows our system so well she can quickly answer any question we have. A system as large as ours requires a lot of maintenance and sometimes quick assistance to changing it. Marilyn never fails to respond quickly and their work is always done much faster than the previous companies we have used. Marilyn also suggested a quicker, and less expensive way to accomplish our needs any time she can, even at her own expense. She is a great analyst who can quickly see the fastest way to do something and is very quick at trouble shooting anything. We have saved a lot of money and time using Ambitious Web, not to mention a ton of headaches and peace of mind.

Feedback:

The folks of Ambitious are nice enough. The company lacks in supplying good SEO setup which gets Google and other search engine to notice your site. They were cheap enough I spent 4000.00$ to have site built and 36.00$ monthly hosting. Their ASC format was easy to learn to help you manage the site. You cannot alter your site yourself to dress it up. I hired an out SEO lady to do my SEO and then I got noticed. Three years of wasted time and money. I shut the site down. I shall redo my site via a different designer. Just glad I didn't spend more money. Good luck to you in your Quest to find a designer that cares about your success.

I am satisfied with the administrative capabilities of my website. The flexibility allows for me to make quick changes without having to wait for a response back from the office.

Feedback:

I have been using Ambitious for all of my Website and SEO needs for the past year and a half. Stephen and Kay are Awesome to work with. They are always quick to get back to my e-mails. Kay who does my SEO work has been continually in the top 3 in the organic listings. Stephen who does most of the web work for me is great to work with. He and his team have met with me when I needed questions answered that were to long for an e-mail. Their office is located in a great place and is easy to get to. If you are looking for someone to build or maintain you website these are the guys you want working with you. Thanks Ambitious for all the great work !!! They are very reasonably priced as well..

Feedback:

If I checked Merrie review before I started with them... I won't choose them and won't wast thousands $ on them!! I have all of the same experience with her! Terrible website, your wont have any sales, since your image is lack of meta, and this website is not Google and seo friendly, so you will have a dead website and dead business I am very sure! You asked them to help, oh well, they are busy not be able to talk with you, not like before you start to choose them. Website is not mobile friendly, I am saying their website is out of 21 century! I have all exact them same experience with her, this is not accident happen on us, it happens to everyone...

Ambitious Web Services is the company that changed everything for Dinosaur Toys Superstore and Horse Toys Superstore. I opened up Dinosaur Toys Superstore in 2002 with another hosting company that was to say the least horrible. They promised the world and delivered terrible customer service, issued ticket numbers when ever you had an issue on your site and never called you back! I was so blessed to stumble upon Ambitious Web Services! Talk about a breath of fresh air!

Feedback:

Unfortunately, our experience was not a good one. If I had it to do all over again I wouldn't go with these guys but anyone I do go with in the future I would do a few things differently. First, I would have a set scheduled completion date. These guys yanked me around for 6 months and I got so fed up I just dropped the whole thing but not before I spent about $2,000. They had an hourly rate instead of a fixed rate for the website. That meant they could drag their feet all the while my business needs this website. Second thing I would have done differently, I would have asked to see the backend of the website editing system to make sure they were actually using an editing system that was user friendly. I took their word for it when they said it was a great backend editor that was easy to use. Turns out it wasn't. It was awful. Also, they use an archaic editing system not known for making wonderful websites. They really need to update their web development to at least to the 21st Century. Something like Joomla or Wordpress would be a better idea than their Microsoft Publisher. It's like going to Wal-mart instead of Saks Fifth Avenue...but your paying Saks prices for Wal-Mart quality. Third, I would pick a web developer who builds sites on a format that I can easily take and run on my own server. They lock you into a contract that forces you to stay with them and their horrible customer service forever and ever at $30 a month. If you have someone build a site on a server like hostgator that you can manage yourself, then you save yourself the headache of having to wait for someone else to make changes to your website, at their snails pace. On your own server you can also manage your e-mail accounts. The customer service was not good. We called the owner after what we thought would take 2 months max to complete the site, turned into 4 months, then 6 months, but she didn't call us back. Instead we got these half-hearted e-mails defending her employees and what she thought we were saying. If she had just picked up the phone and talked with us we may not have felt compelled to leave this review. We couldn't come to an agreement and in fact it felt like she saw us as the enemy. We are reasonable people - customers are not the enemy. Last but not least, I just wasn't happy with the designs they produced. In their portfolio they have some good looking sites but what they produced for us just was not quality work. By the time they finally produced something we were so tired and wanted to just get the darn thing up that we didn't make revisions to the design. I thought "for crying out loud lets just get it together and edit the design later". I guess thats not how it works. Since they work by the hour I didn't want to spend anymore money for something that wasn’t even launched yet. They had already spent a lot of time (and consequently my money) creating something I just hated. I just couldn't imagine spending $30 a month for a site I hate and that I can't easily edit without it crashing. Plus, we were spending $100 for SEO with this company that was really a waste of time and money. All we got was an auto generated e-mail with key word search terms that we could have found on our own. We even changed our website password and they never even noticed. My guess was they didn’t actually do anything on our site to help us. We learned more from listening to a podcast on SEO then we did from this company. I hope this helps others. I hate that it has come to this. But this isn't the first time this company has heard this. I have tried to tell Marilyn, the owner, all of this a few different times but she didn't listen to me. So my last resort is to let the world know my experience. Maybe you will listen to me and learn from my mistakes.
