This lab saved me from making a hazardous mistake! We were considering buying a home in a popular neighborhood on the North Side, but I was concerned by pollution produced from active train tracks just a few lots away. (Today's trains run cleaner, but the tracks have been in use for over a century.) Urban gardening resources referred us here. STAT Analysis was able to quickly perform an analysis of a soil sample from the property at a very reasonable price. They were very understanding of my needs as a homeowner, versus an environmental expert. Craig, especially, was great to work with. Testing confirmed dangerously high levels of several heavy metals and carcinogens, including lead over 1000ppm, so we walked away from the sale. We've since used their soil testing services whenever we look at a property. They provide fast turnaround and the price for the "homeowner suite" is low enough I don't mind paying it for each property.
