Great crew, great ownership and quality materials. What else could you ask for? Brent and Caleb are at the top of the decking game. I throughly research and interview all my contractors. This company was well above the rest. I would highly recommend them to construct a safe, attractive and well built deck. I will be using them again for my next project.

I requested an appointment online for a quote on replacing my deck. Caleb came out and showed me how I could prolong the life of my current deck. He saved me the $13k or $15k that the other contractors wanted to do the job. I will be calling Caleb in the future for my remodel needs. Thanks for the advice.

Very professional, knowledgable and competent deck builders. Our project had numerous challenges including height above ground, slope of yard, equipment access, material delivery and storage, as well as trash haul-off. Caleb/Brent and crew were extremely creative and masterful in their approach to these challenges and the construction of our project. The overall building experience was as stress-free as one could expect and the overall finished project exceeded expectations. Highly recommended!!

I strongly recommend Creative Concepts and Design for your outdoor project. Ours was a unique challenge...a bridge over a natural backyard creek nestled between large trees. From the very start CCD was all hands on deck. In every aspect of the job, they handled the details, large and small: design, working the architectural review board, scheduling, materials, getting permits, expert carpentry...everything. And the finished project is the talk of the town! Neighbors are streaming by to gaze upon an architectural and artistic wonder. It's beautiful and we're so glad that CCD was on the job. Great work, great value, great people!

I live just north of Smithville and needed deck work and advice so after a quick search I found Creative Concepts. Honesty and a company that knows what their doing is such a hard but great thing to find these days. Caleb the designer came out and was full of information and options, he is a true pro at what he does. Creative Concepts is the go to deck company in Kansas City.

We had the pleasure of having Caleb and Brent's company, Creative Concepts and Design, build us our beautiful pergola. We could not be happier with the process from start to finish. Their team was first class from Kim who helped get us scheduled and kept us informed to Brandon and Jeff who built our outdoor oasis. These gentlemen were friendly, polite and respected our yard and belongings. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a well-made, reasonable, and drama free experience.

Very poor communication. A gentleman visited our home 05/08 to give us a quote to add onto our existing deck. He said we would get a quote within 1 week. I called the company on the 17th as I had not yet heard from them, and they said they would look into it and call me back. I called them again on the 23rd as I had not still heard back, and was told that they do not want to work on existing decks, and only want to build new ones at this point. They said that they knew this at the time of the original visit but for some reason this was not communicated to us. An unfortunate waste of 15 days, during which someone else could’ve been doing the job. The lady I spoke with on the phone today seemed kind and was apologetic, however this experience was very disappointing.

Great work by this company. Caleb and Brent were very thorough and responsive during the planning and building process. The actual crew that built the deck, Brandon and Mike, could not have been more professional, polite or attentive to our requests. We have all experienced or heard about nightmare contractors - that’s not these guys. Not the cheapest quote we got, but you get what you pay for boys and girls. Five stars.
