What a gem of a spot, food is super delicious and service is top shelf. The decor is that of a southern speak easy look and feel. Lot of red, even the wall paper. Super colse to the fwy so really great for a pop in from my location. I had the salmon cakes and they were amazingly juices with a perfect outter crust, here herr to the chef, my friends had a filet with a mushroom sauce and was mouth watering. Great pours in drinks and some fabulous live bands.

I've been to Iva Lee's three times in the last six months and sampled different things from the menu each time. The result? I've been impressed without exception. Simply put, the food is different and tasty, but not gimmicky or cliche for this cuisine. My suggestion for a first time visitor? Try the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer, an the catfish for the entree. You'll be happy.

I'll admit, I was sceptical. Buttt their hush puppies so yummy! Forgot to take a pic lol I had their mac n cheese with a side a grilled shrimp.. bomb! Lol We also had their catfish, that I like but never had it before, my partner didn't care for it and didn't like the bacon mashed potatoes. I didn't try the mashed potatoes. But loved the coleslaw lol Nice staff, clean. Plenty of parking.
