This is the worst host I've ever used since 2004 that I've been hosting website. iPage will suspend your account just to market SiteLock. it's so so annoying having account with this useless host. Any business minded ISP will have firewalls to prevent attackers. They will send you list of infected files to delete them one by onne, so why are you hosting my files when you can't protect my files??? If you need a reliable host, please try namecheap, those guys will give you value for value. iPage deserves no STAR please.... I gave that one star just to post this, please ignore the star

They are absolute CROOKS doing agressive hosting renewal AGAINST YOUR WILL. I have been with them for 4 years because after my 1st year with tem they renewed me automatically for 3 more years without asking my approval NOR AUTHORISATION!! After that, I opted for DO NOT RENEW my subscription with them and went with another hosting provider and I have just found out that they renewed me again AGAINST MY WILL. These are just THIEVES. Do NOT opt for their services as they will offer cheap service the 1st year and then increase their prices by about 70% for the subsequent years and WITHDRAW MONEY FROM YOUR CREDIT CARD WITHOUT YOUR APPROVAL (pls see attached). I don't understand how the US or Canadian governement allows this type of crooked business!! They should shut down the company for illegal business practices!! PS: The technicla guys in India working their issues are great people and have nothing to do with this SCAM!! I actually feel sorry for them having to work for that thieves business...

Two main issues (1) Within the past two years there were dramatic price increases, approximately 50% per year, with no increase in services. I jumped in November from $107.40 to $155.40 (2) Then when it was time for me to transfer the domain name and hosting to another person, the real problems began. "Greg" said I was due a refund for unused web hosting, prorated at $155, but he said if they gave me the refund before the other person took over, the entire website and it's contents would be permanently destroyed. Greg said this would happen even if the other party called 5 minutes later to give his credit card information to take over the account. So we transferred the ownership first. "Greg" said they have my information on file regarding my hosting renewal on Nov 16th, and it would be "no problem" to refund me after the other person takes over the ownership of my website. Then I called back a few hours later and got "James" on the line. He then refused to give me the refund because my name and credit card were no longer on the account. EXACTLY WHAT I FEARED. James WAS able to verify who I was and that I made the transaction on Nov 16th, but I was no longer an authorized person to make any inquiry or discuss anything about the account. My next call is to my credit card company to challenge the transaction. There's another domain name that I own, and you can be sure iPage will never have my business again. They have burned their bridges with their lies. And I will send a letter to the Attorney General of Massachusetts. iPage is located at 10 Corporate Drive, #300, Burlington, MA 01803

Absolutely the worst company I have ever worked with. They made my website not be able to retrieve leads for 2 months. Almost put us out of business. They couldn't resolve the problem so we had to move and create a whole new website. NEVER use this company!!!!!!!Scam Artists!!!!!!!

I had been with this company since starting my blog in Jan of 2014 up until this past summer. My site crashed numerous times, which seemed to increase the last several months I was with them. Calling customer service to get it back up meant long hold times or, if through their online messaging, scripted feedback with a ticket opened (which I would have to call in sometimes to check status since sometimes I didn't get an update!). It just became a headache dealing with them so I left them for Hostgator. That has been a great move for me. I DO NOT recommend iPage.
