Opened a package of sharp cheddar and there was mold. Just on the edge of one slice. Date was fine. Shouldn't have started to mold.

I am not sure who makes the cheese JS markets but the mozzarella is horrible. It used be be great until about 6 months ago. I put it on lasagna and it looks like cottage cheese after being baked. I worked for a company that made the best mozzarella so I know what is good and what isn't. If JS Brands see this I suggest you find out what the makers of this cheese changed. Mozzarella is supposed to have stretch, not fall apart. I won't be buying this cheese again.
