Homes are over priced for the area. HOA fees are high and the roads are being beaten to shreds from heavy trucks. The best thing about it are the views of the canyon.

Jaw-dropping scenery! We never grow accustomed to it. We are delighted when our friends come to visit us. They oohh and aahh and can't believe what we see out our front door, our master bedroom window and our back yard. Add to that their amazement when we take them to some of our beautiful destinations just "a few blocks away". Yes, the National Parks are great! And we have a "zillion" more locations we love to show off.We love living in this one-of-a-kind beautiful development, being involved in the Homeowners Association Activities, welcoming new neighbors, and knowing that things are well-managed.

Imagine waking every morning to the beautiful backdrop of these red cliffs. And in the winter with a dusting of snow they are a sight to behold. A perfect little community where you know your neighbors name and you can be involved to what ever degree you wish,

There are so many positive things about Kanab. The country itself is breathtaking. The Red Rock country side and the history that surrounds the area is fascinating and it's hard not to want to be doing something outdoors when you're there. Kanab as a community is fun for me because it is a half step back in time in some ways, mostly in that it seems a little slower paced and peaceful. The people are friendly and there is a community spirit that is discernible to me. I enjoy that friendly feeling. La Estancia itself, is just a beautiful area to live and enjoy being part of all that Kanab and Southern Utah have to offer.

As a family, we have fallen in love with La Estancia in Kanab Utah. The setting is amazing. The landscape is beautiful and its very central to all the things we love to do in the outdoors. Even better though are the people we have met while there. Some of the best in the world!!!I highly recommend it.
