Best car rental experience so far! Staffs were very friendly and helpful, specially the gentleman called Ahmed. Our cruise ship had a 6-hour delay so we arrived in the late afternoon. Ahmed tried his best to process our transaction fast and answered any questions we had. Will definitely recommend renting cars from this location.

I had to go find the car no attendant on duty. Return car had to take it myself & take a pic of mileage & gas. Then take elevator back down from 4th floor prkg. Again no attendent present. Go back into building to check out

Park on top of parking garage, make sure you note the mileage before treking down to the office. No shuttle to port, taxi is about $13 tho.

The Avis Preferred counter is outside where you have to wait if your car is not ready and it was almost 100 degrees the day I was there. Then the first car smelled like someone peed in it and then the second car (and others I saw drive out) had a number of scratches and dings which I had to document for them before I left the lot.

Dear Avis,My family has used Avis multiple times and have found Avis to have great rates, and friendly staff. The week prior to renting are car from Avis I spoke with a representative that was very friendly that gave me many options and had great customer service. ( As I left her a good review) on Sunday May 27 I picked up my car at this location, and was VERY DISAPPOINTED. As I arrived I was not greeted nor did the employee introduce himself. The demeanor of this employee portrayed himself as if he did not want me there. As I tried to break casual conversation, there was very little reply and this continued as he handed me paperwork to sign, he finished with telling me were the car was with no thank you as I left. I have been in the costumer service field all my life behind counters and now as a firefighter meanless to say, what a poor performance. Thank you for the vehicle we rented there as it was clean and ran nice. I am not sure if I will be using this Avis again, as there is others in long beach, but I will be using Avis its self still for my rentals, thank you for allowing me to write a review.Joel Burrows
