What was the best part of the experience?

I’m still surprised that I can go on Google right now and struggle to find any negative coverage about our brand. DMA has done a great job building a positive narrative online and ensuring that when our potential customers are doing research they are seeing the very real value that we’ve provided to our customers for over ten years instead of the lies and slander that our hyper-jealous competitors have posted online._x000D_

What would you change about the experience?

They were able to get the positive results within 90 days; I cannot really say anything bad about my experience with them._x000D_

What was the best part of the experience?

When I was tasked with figuring out how to turn around our web marketing I started to notice a lot of negative reviews, some in part due to some mistakes that were made along the way while our business was growing and some from online reviewers we were pretty sure were actually competitors. We tried to do a lot to directly connect with reviewers and try to handle the negativity, but nothing really worked. In some ways, we made things worse._x000D_ _x000D_ We hired DMA at the recommendation of a colleague of mine and they were really quick to identify some of the major issues. They also showed us just how damaging the negative perception of us was online and what it was stopping us from being able to achieve. We had a lot of potential for getting customers online, but they were being scared away. The proposed a large campaign to both combat the negativity online and promote a lot more positive content. We signed the contract._x000D_ _x000D_ Within three months we were seeing a lot more inquiries online as a lot of the negativity was being counteracted with positive coverage of our brand online. Websites and pages built by DMA were being favored by search engines over blatantly false or misleading information competitors put out about us online. What would you change about the experience?

It did take a few months for us to see the results of the work and there was a point where we weren’t sure if it was going to work out for us. We had a few discussions with their team and they were more than willing to have a meeting to show what their accomplishments was and to expose a bit of the process to help us feel better._x000D_ _x000D_

We are now seeing a huge increase in online sales since buyers are not being greeted with a sea of negativity when they try to learn more about us. What was the best part of the experience?

In 2016 a string of bad business decisions really put us in a bad position. Some negative reviews were pushing potential buyers away. We were really backed into a corner and were forced to seek different avenues of solving the problem._x000D_ _x000D_ We approached a few different companies, but DMA was able to quickly see just how much pain we were in with our sales process. They were quick to come up with a detailed proposal for how they would approach addressing the negativity online and enforcing our brand with positivity. They were brutally honest with us; it was an uphill battle given the circumstances, but they were willing to put the time and effort in to help us rescue our brand. It was either go with them, or watch our business fall apart._x000D_ _x000D_ We originally gave them six months to turn our reputation around for us, but within the first three months we were seeing a significant reduction in negative search results and in the negativity we were first seeing with social media. Even one of our major competitors who had an entire page dedicated to bashing us couldn’t be found when searching the name of our brand online. The worst part about the whole project was the waiting. It was difficult watching our sales continue to drop up until the point when we started to see both the increase and the improvement in our search results._x000D_

We brought on DMA to help us help our clients as we focus mostly on creative and don’t dive too much into the marketing side of things. When taking on a large project, we connected with a few different companies that do link building, but DMA’s proposal seemed to be the most reasonable. We partnered with them in an arrangement where we would write compelling articles for our clients and they would generate incoming links from reputable sources to those articles to give them more relevance.
