I signed up with General Communication for VOIP phone service. They use Toshiba as the backbone to the system. Toshiba has gone down 4 times in 30 days! This is bad for my business. What is worse is GC charges you $75.00 to forward your phones. This is extortion in my opinion. The tech told me "it's not our fault Toshiba goes down". I agree but I don't pay Toshiba, I pay GC for the service. I asked if there is a way to forward the phones without GC and I was told the only way to forward the phones is through GC. If you are looking for a phone system please do your homework and avoid companies like this that charge you when their system goes down.
