Great reviews for big jobs. But do NOT use this firm for a smaller job. Russ Glickman substitutes shoddy materials, sub-contractors who don't do the work specified. If we had been out on our deck when the part of the roof fell off that was improperly attached with the wrong kind of fastening we might have been killed. Other violations of the contract. An inspector and the roof contractor who fixed the roof both wrote opinions that the fastening used could not hold the weight of the roof. We picked him due to great reviews and how pleasant he was when trying to get our business. Again, for smaller jobs, watch out.

Glickman DesignBuild did a fantastic job on our addition. We redid our kitchen expanding out and making a great room as well as adding a screened porch. The entire process was excellent. The initial design work was stressful given the costs of what we wanted versus what we could afford. However, once we settled on a plan, the process was incredibly smooth. Our project manager was Justin Wigfield who was amazing. He was always available and dealt with any of our concerns immediately. The subcontractors were all wonderful. Everyone worked long hours and things moved along quickly (the entire process did require 6 months although everything was essentially done in about 4 months. ) Things were always left clean and organized and the entire process was as stress free as something like this could be. I can not be happier with the outcome - we love our new room and porch and patio.

We hired for the redesigning of our house, and then we came to know that not just home design and modeling, Glickman Design Build has vast experience in performing witness work for the attorneys and their clients with personal injury claims. I must say they are fabulous in this field as well.

I will definitely recommend Glickman Design Build and will get them again in the future! They did a very excellent job with my kitchen - gave me the countertop I wanted and made me part of every step. I had a design in mind and a not-so-big budget but they made it all possible!

If you are designing/building I strongly suggest you include Glickman as one of your 3-4 bids. They are knowledgeable, great to work with, and they do top notch work. They are not the most expensive, nor are they the cheapest. They are a safe choice.
