Sam and his team worked with me and my team at Hospice of the Piedmont to bring to life our services (end-of-life care, grief support, and more) through the art of video. I could not be more happy with the finished product from Hoopla Media. Over the course of several weeks last year, we planned, scheduled, collaborated, and finally filmed what would be the footage for six outstanding videos that capture the breadth of our services with beauty and clarity. Sam was great to work with, as was his small and friendly crew of assistants. He worked really well with our patients and families to tell a compelling story while being sensitive to the subject matter (end-of-life care, terminal illness, grief, death, and loss). He paid close attention to all the details necessary to make great video and was open to feedback as we worked through various iterations of the six videos he produced. It was a monumental task to film for upwards of 40 hours and distill that footage into a handful of 2-3 minute videos that tell a beautiful, complete, and complex story. I would not hesitate to work with Sam again and would recommend him to anyone seeking a professional to help create beautiful, impactful videos for personal or professional use.

Hoopla Media has now done five music videos for us. Sam truly has a gift! His artistic vision brings a quality to his film making that sets him above the rest. He's not just content with ordinary shots, but goes the extra mile to make the extraordinary happen. There are a lot of folks out there who can use a camera and capture footage. Sam uses his camera to create art. He is easy-going and fun to work with. He is organized and meticulous in the planning and even when the unanticipated happens, he can think on the fly and make it work into the project. If you want videography that really stands above the rest, then look no further!

Seeing Sam Kempf's video of our daughter's wedding brought us beautiful memories as though we were experiencing that special day again. Though still photos are nice, a video is amazing!
