Rented a projector from Icehouse Pictures, and then had reels transferred to DVD. Glenn was helpful and patient while I determined what to include and remove from multiple reels, and he provided outstanding & personalized service. Highly recommend Icehouse Pictures!

I don’t typically write reviews but I was so impressed with their service I had to share my experience. Before discovering Icehouse Pictures my Mom made the unfortunate mistake of bringing our family movies to a well-known company in Newton. The results were disappointing to say the least and what made it worse is they charged her some bogus $30 service fee as well.The videos looked so bad that I decided to take it upon myself and have the videos converted again. Another added expense I didn’t need but these movies are precious to me. I ended up choosing Icehouse Pictures based on a recommendation from a friend. I’m so glad I took her advice. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. In no time at all they had our home movies done and they came out amazing! They looked as if they were recorded yesterday. I was blown away by the clarity and I couldn’t believe these were the same videotapes. They even organized the movies into chronological order with titles and dates. I was absolutely thrilled with the way everything came out. I highly recommended them to anyone!

We were beyond happy with the results!! our old VHS tapes were in a really poor shape, we were unsure if those were still transferable but the Icehouse really did an amazing job and saved our precious memories!! Thanks a lot guys!!

Awesome awesome awesome. I had tons of old 60's films I wanted put on DVD. I had single 300 feet films and 3 huge reels I had put on VHS back in the early 90s wish I hadnt done that. The single reels he put in as chapters. You can actually pick the reel you want to watch and he named them as it was written on the film box with year. The big reels were already spliced together and not at all in order. I repeat wish I had never done it in the 90s they just spliced without care of timeline. He also color corrected them as they were starting to fade. He also went above and beyond to get the first one to me, as my younger sister was visiting for memorial day from AZ, and she didn't really make much of an appearance in the spliced reels. He was busy but got the first to me within a week. I was impressed.... He said "A Lot Of Late Nights." It was a hit at my cookout on memorial day. People were taking recordings of their adult kids as kids on their phones, all so excited. I told him no hurry on second one, yet he got it done within a few weeks. He also doesn't make it so that you can't make copies for family and friends. He said you can make as many copies as you want. I will be bringing him my old VHS tapes of my son as he also puts those on DVD. If you want to preserve your memories I strongly suggest using Ice House, he takes pride in his work... 10 stars!!!!
