Feedback:

I have never felt so ripped off.My Mac Pro tower finally died, and I suspected it was the power supply- but wanted to make sure it wasn't a logic board or something else. When I went in, I was told "yes, we work on Macs," and that a technician would call me before the work began. My technician called me a few days later, and said that it appeared that the power supply was bad, but that they would open it up and test it before going any further. I verbally approved him testing the power supply. He called me yesterday to say that "we don't have the equipment to test the power supply after all", but a replacement one would be $199, and the labor $195 to install it- but since they don't have the right equipment to properly test it, it may not solve the problem. At that point, I said "nah, I'll just take it home."The technician told me then that it would be a $45 bench fee when I picked it up. I thought that was a little odd since "we don't have the equipment to properly diagnose this," but hey, they at least did the research to find out what the exact part number was for the power supply.I just picked it up. The technician explained when I arrived that the manager "Ronald F Ranc II" decided that despite not being able to diagnose the computer, and not having the proper equipment, that they'd charge me $95 instead of the normal $45.He said the technician had spent too much time on it, and I should pay more.Mind you, this manager wasn't there to speak to me directly. He made his poor employee tell me all this- even the employee agreed that this was complete garbage. Ronald F Ranc II is a coward. If you want to give a customer bad news that you know isn't fair, you should do it yourself and not make a subordinate do it.Had this been a legitimate computer repair center, they would have called me immediately and said "hey, we don't have the tools to diagnose this properly" and ended it there. Instead, I'm now $95 poorer, having learned absolutely nothing other than that ISD should not be in business with these kinds of ethics.Run from this place. Any place that quotes one price over the phone, then doubles it *without having done anything -because they don't have the equipment to do it-* should be avoided like the plague.

Feedback:

A special thanks to Ron and Roxanna for taking the time to work with me on a Sunday. I was having a problem with my computer I was almost in panic mode when I called ISD. Roxanna called me back within a half an hour and then had Ron call me who was kind enough to walk me through bringing the computer back to life!!! I've worked with the folks at ISD for a few years and they have always been responsive and patient, but today, well, I just can't thank them enough for their help.

Feedback:

ISD did a superb job despite a very short time constraint. Once completed, ISD followed up to make sure everything was on track and offered additional advice. Thanks

Feedback:

Do not come here if your computer is broken, they are expensive for no reason. And also don't buy any electronics or accessories here, I bought a charger now my computer can't work without it

Feedback:

Brought my laptop here to diagnose a startup issue. The "technician" I spoke with said that it will be a minimum of nearly $200 regardless of what the issue turns out to be. He then tried to upsell me a new computer for over 500 dollars instead - even though it was not equivalent to the one I already own! I ended up getting the laptop fixed for under $100 elsewhere. These people just want to make a quick buck. Stay away!

Feedback:

I brought my HP to these people after a windows update was unable to complete and windows repair was unable to process. The man I spoke to was rude and his attitude made it very clear that he didn't want to work on my computer. I would have appreciated it if he just had said that. His first question was to ask if I was already a customer. I can't imagine that they have too many return customers. He then went into a long tirade about the age of the computer. (5 years) and that it was going to cost $190 to just diagnose the problem and repairs and parts are beyond that. As you might imagine I left with the computer and ended up going to PCS...

Feedback:

This place will absolutely rip you off. If you want your computer fixed I’d advise you to go anywhere else. The owner will go out of his way to charge you as much as he can even if the problem isn’t fixed. He’s a con artist. Do not do business the owner, Ron. He’s the bald one.

Feedback:

Don’t use them. Don’t trust them.
