The list of issues with this place are ENDLESS but, I’ll make it as direct and short as possible.1. My son’s first day there from school he road the bus and I followed it being the paranoid mom that I am to make sure his first bus ride was smooth from school. I notice that he didn’t get off of the bus. I call in (while trying to follow the bus and stop it) to see if my son made it in. The owner Neema yells to an employee and then reports back that yes, he’s there. Which was a lie! He was only in Kindergarten and is a well behaved child so he was waiting for permission to get off the bus which didn’t happen. I managed to get the bus drivers attention after cutting her off in Dravosburg. Needless to say, I pulled him and switched his schools so that he could attend the morning and after school program there. 2. During the following summer I needed a sitter again for two weeks until school started. Because I would be taking him and picking him up I tried this place again. ONLY because the only decent daycare in Mckeesport was to capacity. My son learned all kinds of GHETTO music from his teacher playing it in class. At this time he was SIX. Not only did she play trap music for the kids (I guess “the wheels on the bus” wasn’t good enough), she was allowing them to watch the YouTube videos! What kind of retarded teacher is this you ask? One that wears dirty scarfs to work. 4. My nephew would bring school work home that the daycare supposedly helped him with and it’d be ALL WRONG! I’m only speaking on this because I’ve dealt with this many times when picking him up for my sister. Eventually my sister told them to stop doing his homework with him, he’d do it at home. 5. FINANCES - the owner doesn’t keep track of checks or cash them in a timely manner. I gave her a check in August for my son’s two weeks and she cashed it in February the following year! I called the bank and they straightened it out. But seriously, SIX MONTHS!? She didn’t even call the number on the check as a courtesy/ heads up. No apology, no nothing. 6. 90% of the employees and the owner are ghetto. 7. I fussed the owner out every time I went to pick up my nephew and could just walk right in! Especially with a bar directly across the street. She eventually got a buzzer to let people in and out. I’m not sure if there is even a camera to go with it.8. Anyone can pick up your kid if they know the name. They never check IDs. Don’t believe me, test it!Do not use this daycare. The owner needs put out of business so someone from the community that actually cares can take over and run this establishment in a professional manner! She barely speaks English and her employees are more like the boss.

My experience with daycare has been AWESOME! The owner Neema and her staff cares for my soon to be three year old twins. They have helped with potty training them and developmental skills. My daughter wasn't to much of a talker, and the staff helped her to express herself more. I see a major change in my twins they have been there a little over a year. I ran into Neema daycare after I had a major crisis at another daycare in West Mifflin. I was in a bind, she was the fourth daycare I had looked at that morning and was really stressed out. She calmed me down and gave me a tour of the daycare. The daycare was spotless, very neat, organized, and tons for my twins to do. Neema gave me the paperwork talk to my agency and my twins started the very next day. I never had any issues, and Neema has no problem addressing her staff or retraining if need be. Neema also has Head start come in and other programs to help the kids learn and develop. I have seen her give kids clothes that she purchased with her own money that were in need. I love the projects the staff do with the kids on holidays for them to bring home to me. My twins are very happy to be dropped off here and sometimes cry, because they don't want to leave because there having so much fun. I strongly suggest this daycare for your childcare needs. She truly cares for our kids and our community.
