I'm really not sure why all the bad reviews. I honest to god do not and have never had any affiliation with MO wind and solar. It would appear that there are far too many people who have not done enough research to be getting into this stuff. I.e. Not even knowing the difference between a wind mill and a wind turbine. This is a do it your self store people.. not ( I don't know what I'm doing so when I brake it or I don't set it up right and it underperforms I blame them store) Anyway... my visit was great. The salesmen was very friendly and polite. He neither rushed me nor gave too little attention. It was nearing closing time also, and I could hear they were respectful and helping the other gentlemen in the store also. The salesmen advised me and didn't try too hard to upswell me. I bought a basic starter system. He made sure I knew how to hook it up and everything was fine and they even helped me load up my purchase. The product is lower end sure( just the charge the controller) but I knew that buying it. It's a basic kit. It still is working fine. If anything I'm surprised it isn't broken as I neglected it all winter due to having to be out of town. I look forward to visiting again. Will be updating as to if they keep up the good work or try and pull something funny with me.

Missouri Wind And Solar sold us half of a windmill, then proceeded to charge us an additional $300 in parts just to try and get it running. We've had nothing but problems with this company, and now that it's blatantly obvious that their product is faulty they have stopped answering their phone. We thought that sticking with an American company would be best and high quality with English speaking tech support. At this point, I recommend going Chinese and Google translating any tech problems you have because this company will do their best to get your money, and then they won't stand behind their product because they know it's absolutely worthless and cannot boast the specs they claim. Essentially they sold us a car with no transmission and told us that it runs, but then went on to charge us hundreds more to make a functioning product. For the sake of not only your wallet, but your sanity as well... Go anywhere else.

If you are like me and desperately need aeration to a pond that you cannot run electricity to then the solar aeration system this company offers is the way to go. It's the cheapest I've found and it's the best fit for me. It's a simple setup and replacement parts wont break your pocket book. We have had a dry spell in southern Alabama this year and its caused normal ponds to lose fish when they never have before my neighbor lost a whole pond of fish due to lack of aeration. I purchased an aeration bundle with one solar panel which didn't run most of the day I would recommend two panels no matter the size pump and the algae has cleared up along with the water in general. Zero fish kills since I have installed it and my pond looks wonderful. I am recommending this product to all my friends so I figured I might as well here too. Also the system I purchased was the one without using batteries. It runs during the day an shuts off at night. I hope this helps someone else like me.

It's a VERY long story but I will abbreviate it by saying that I would have been much better off trenching 500 feet to my pond to run an air line from my house (for pond aeration). I really like the idea of using green energy as much as possible but this has been an exercise in throwing good money after bad. I have a solar PV system on my house and would have achieved the same goal by trenching the 500 feet. However, I should point out that MWANDS seems to do a pretty good job as a product reseller. They have a nice website with many helpful videos, they seem to have nailed down the art of selling, packaging, and shipping. If you know exactly what you need and have done extensive research (i.e. enough research to know with absolute confidence whether or not the products will work for your situation), then MWANDS would likely be a good place to shop. However, if you must rely on them to advise you on what to purchase or if you suspect that there is potential for a technical issue to arise, then I would recommend avoiding MWANDS. They are simply too small of a business with very limited resources such that providing technical support to promptly address issues is not within their current capabilities.

Bought a freedom windmill 1600w I installed this unit with a friend of mine that is electrical engineer, it has never put out anything that they advertised. We went overkill on everything in the install, 60 ft in the air, doubled the wire specs, used their regulator, their bridge rectifier, and wont even charge one 12 volt battery bank when the mill is at full wind, shacking the tower. I called and sent pictures, until they finallywouldnt even take any of calls anymore, poor customer service and just plain rude. Will never buy anything from this company ever again!

I was advised how and what I needed to set up my wind system. Made it easy to add to it with solar if the wind generator doesn't provide enough to power my garage. Thanks, I recommend Missouri wind and solar.

These are great..... IF you want to make 100 watts in a 50MPH wind!! Terrible company with terrible ownership. Their windmill will never make as much power as you think it will.
