I recently rented Mitten Studios for a two-hour photo shoot with a model. I was very happy with all aspects of the studio and the service. I will definitely use Mitten Studios in the future. James (the owner) communicated well during scheduling and was there at the start of the shoot to show me the space and equipment.The studio has several shooting options, is well-equipped, and very clean. There are basically 3 rooms with different walls, windows, and backdrops, including seamless paper, all in neutral finishes. Though the windows are not exactly west-facing, there was nice sunset light coming in as I stated the shoot. It was great to have some natural light options.There is a large alcove with clothes rack and makeup dresser for the model. That made it easy to have clothing out of the way and provided a good space for the model to do makeup and hair. The studio offers several strobes and modifiers. I was trying some of my own lighting so I didn’t get a chance to try the studio lighting, but it looked very capable. It is all listed on the website.The experienced model was very impressed with the studio, which reflects well on me as a photographer.

I rented studio space from James at Mitten Studios and I am extremely happy with how it went! James made everything easy and was very accommodating, welcoming, and kind. The studio is very clean and easy to find. I will definitely be going back! Beautiful space!
