Nathan Fitts and Kristy Baugh were the dynamic duo when it came to our home buying experience!Alas! We just closed on our dream home. A beautiful estate with acres of privacy and elbow room, and just the right combination of untamed woods, picturesque pasture, long range mountain views, and a babbling fast-flowing creek crossing the property that you can hear from the house. It is the closest we've found to fit as many of our requirements as we've seen in over 3 years of looking. We also wanted a pond and a house with southern exposure, but we decided to slide on those requirements since it had everything else. Honestly, we'd be hard pressed to find EVERYTHING we wanted in this part of the country, and we are so happy to have all that we were able to get.We started working with Nathan Fitts to find this magical retreat a couple of years ago. Over that time, and off and on, he spent days driving us all over God's Green Earth showing us place after place -- many places we even previewed on our own, and they seemed appealing from the listing info, but in person, each place just wasn't quite right for one reason or another. We had so many very specific demands for privacy, acreage, layout of the home with a South-facing exposure, smooth ceilings, an updated kitchen and other aspects regarding the surrounding community. In addition to all of that, it had to be competitively priced AND the sellers would still need to be willing to negotiate.We are so fortunate that Nathan stuck with us, and he never gave up on us, as we feel most other realtors would have done. His tenacity and persistence prevailed. He treated our wish list like a puzzle to be solved. He even showed us a couple of properties that we made offers on. They were really nice places, but we had to back out of the contracts during the due diligence for certain reasons - and Nathan and the closing attorney allowed us to terminate the contracts with no questions asked.Finally, he sent us a listing which we initially rejected because it was way over priced, and because it was an older home with an outdated kitchen. A few more months of searching, we circled back to this listing and the seller's had come down in their asking price to a point we felt it was worth visiting in person. It is still an older home with an outdated kitchen, and it faces East, not South, but with everything else matching our needs, we decided to go for it anyway.When we finally decided this was "The One" and the contract was accepted, Nathan brought Kristy Baugh into the process and she is AMAZING!! Talk about attention to detail and following through, Kristy is FANTASTIC! -- a true Dynamo! Kristy and Nathan tag team with the details of the due diligence and the whole process leading up to closing. If I ever had a question about something, I just sent a text or email to Kristy and within just a few minutes, if not seconds, Kristy replied either with the answer, or to say, "I'll find out" or "I'm working on it." She made sure everything was taken care of or was being answered, whether it was questions for the sellers, or issues with the home inspection, or just getting access to see the place -- Kristy was ALWAYS there (except for when she went on a short, and well deserved vacation, in which case Nathan was there!!) Long story longer, everything went so smoothly, we feel it would be hard to find a better team to work with or to have a better home buying experience. We emphasize how highly we recommend Nathan's team in the search for your dream home.

Very knowledgeable and connected in the Blue Ridge area! My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to rent with our two large dogs and despite only seeing two properties, neither of which allowed dogs, Nathan was able to call a friend and convince them to rent their property to us instead of selling. I highly recommend working with his team!

No follow through! Tried to work with him but after initial conversation, I never heard back from him as he promised. My impression is that he only likes to work with customers that have an open check book.
