I was super happy with the help I received from the team at NetWerks. They went above and beyond to recover the few files I needed from my fried hard drive. Their personalities were very down-to-earth and warm and I felt like they were very empathetic to my situation. I will definitely use them again if/when I have another computer related problem.

Was on vacation and my laptop died. They answered the phone when I called (a rarity now) , were sympathetic to my issue, said they could look at it right away and gave me directions to get there. There diagnosis was quick and accurate. I am not easily impressed by service but they impressed me. If I lived over on west side of Michigan I would definitely use them for personal +/or business needs.

We were referred to them by a close friend, app 2-1/2 years ago. We were very frustrated with the other IT services in our area. They has replaced our hard drive on 1 of our 3 computers and has helped us numerous times on other technical issues. As far as we are concerned they are by far the best local option when it comes to all your IT needs!

We've been working with Netwerks for many years referring networking, support, POS setups and small business configurations. Paul and his crew really know there stuff and we've never had a single referral be disappointed in the work performed. And, with training, website design, server support and backup, disaster recovery and the fact that they take of Macs as well as Windows make them the number one go-to place for all your business needs! I give this post a zero star if I could. These guys have a great looking office and company logo; professional advertising. I was fooled. They dissed my computer that I wanted to keep for personal reasons. I'm not completely computer illiterate. So, since my mom has just passed away and I was grieving (we were very close and she had hardships for several years prior), I felt compelled and wanted to retrieve photos from my old corrupt hard drive and install a new Win 7 disc onto another wiped hard drive. It bugged me enough that I couldn't fix it so I wanted answers as to why. They put the corrupted hard drive in a box and quickly informed me that all of the info was all gone, no chance of getting it back. It was a blow because those were pictures of our last outing before the decline in her health. ( I took care of her the best ways I knew how) I kept said "corrupted" hard drive, thank Jesus, because I hoped that in the future, as this guy even stated, that someone could pull out the old info forensically.... only perhaps. Then they attempted to install the new stuff in the computer (it is still a good model - refurb people still buy these). After taking a long time, and basically did the same things I had already done, they told me the computer was shot - they couldn't fix it. Sorry, blah blah, not worth it. Then I still had to pay them $40. EVEN THOUGH they could NOT tell me what was wrong with it. I was kind of thinking "amateurs" but still forked over the $40. I was sad and later, frustrated still. So, I then purchased an identical working tower online, figured I could use the old one for parts if need be. It was a good price. This was a top of the line Dell back in the day and people were asking 4 times more for the same model online so I got a great deal. When I called Netwerks again for advice, since I was running into the same problem, he brushed me off again (over the phone), and said, it still wasn't worth it, even with the aforementioned 2nd one. He sounded impatient and told me it would be too much $$, over $200. I hung up and was thinking like wow; have my doubts now; he was so abrupt. So, still being bothered, I later shopped on Thumbtack and found a brainiac who not only is a software engineer but fixes computers on the side. This guy (he didn't want me to mention his name within any complaint I would write as he didn't know a thing about NetWerks anyway) was SO nice and said he would never charge for anything if he couldn't fix it (like Netwerks did). By that time, I was thrilled for that alone. A few days later, he not only fixed it, uploaded Win10 and explained why the wiped hard drive was, like the old one, not a great hard drive, I bought one he recommended. When he was done, he told me it was good as new and faster and mind you, this was the old computer that Netwerks said was shot. He said it was good I had the extra one for parts and it works too. He also installed the wiped hard drive (tower has a place for two) as an aux for any back up - an extra bonus. THEN, he said he was able to RETRIEVE ALL OF THE INFO ON THE OLD hard drive!!! I was ELATED. When I got home and started it up, I CRIED - tears of joy. There were those pictures and everything else. It was a very reasonable fix cost wise and this wiz kid was amazing. Don't let professional looking advertising and office spaces fool you. Shop around. I'd never go here for anything other than basic fixes (some virus' you can fix just by doing a Google search and following directions) or to have new extras added on to your machine but really, I know one thing. These 4 people don't know their limitations in tech knowledge and they treated me like I was a pest, charging me $40. for their "labor" and lack of input. Frankly, I can't figure what they do but I've learned enough about what they don't know and how much the head honcho lacks in empathy and possesses in complacency.
