I hired this company to cover a workshop my client was holding. I reviewed the website portfolio and Facebook page and the photos looked good. We agreed on a scheduled time and photos as well as video for the keynote and a breakout session. They arrived and stayed only for the keynote. When we received the photos they were absolutely terrible. Not one photo could be used and the video was amateur at best. I contacted them and received an explanation that the photos looked that way because they were unedited. My husband is a photographer and uses unedited photos all the time. These were blurry, had bad lighting and strange coloring. They did not appear to be shot with a professional camera at all. After a few exchanges Phoenix agreed to edit the photos at no additional cost. A few days later they emailed stating they were unable to edit the photos (not shocking) due to the quality and would provide a full refund. That was over 30 days ago. I followed up 2 weeks ago and was told they were assessing their finances and we would receive it "soon." The time between payment for services and the offer of a refund was less than a week. Here we are still waiting with no resolve. We discovered the photos on the site are actually of the photographers so I am now thinking that they didn't even take the photos. This is completely unprofessional. I understand they are young and likely new business owners but if you can't deliver the work promised then continue honing your craft.
