The town of Somers town hall are useless. No one knows what department is what, who's phone number is who's. I went to them with a serious matter regarding finishing crosswalks that they started a year ago. I want them to finish getting them up and running. My oldest child was just killed by a hit and run driver while walking on May 22, 2019. I am concerned about my 3 remaining children crossing. They brushed me off and gave me a phone number of a man that retired 10 years ago. The staff in the clerk's office is very rude and heartless. This is insanity and I shouldn't have to work this hard for them to do what they get paid to do while grieving the very recent death of my son.When you go to Somers CT town hall to vote or to pay taxes, they are right on it. Or if one of the staff lost a child due to no sidewalk like I did, I'm sure that they would request for more safety in their town at a very dangerous intersection as well to prevent having to bury another one of their children!I am calling all CT news channels, CT State senetor's office and whoever else possible.Very upset and concerned parent
