We moved into our home at Southern Springs two years ago. We were pleased by the variety of floor plans to choose from, so we found exactly what we wanted with guidance from A. J. We are comfortable and safe here. We're close to shoping and restaurants. There are a large variety of activities for us to choose from. The few problems we discovered in the house were promptly addressed by Krissanne, who is on top of things. The lodge seems to be meeting needs nicely, even though everything isn't finished there yet.

Liked the recreation facility but very disappointed in construction of homes. Flimsy interior doors, narrow baseboards, narrow window trim (extra cost), only flat paint (comments was it doesn’t show repairs), poor quality windows. Upgrades were not available for the basics - we could redo after we bought the house. Options were limited. If we’re spending somewhere around $200 per sq. foot, we expect the fit and finish to be much better. Have no idea of quality behind the walls. HOA fee was lower than many communities since it is not gated so road repairs were the town or county’s responsibility. It did include yard maintenance. We’re looking elsewhere.

This is an exclusive neighborhood community targeted to 55 year old and up active seniors. The community is not gated. The beautiful landscaped entrance is located off off Kedron Rd just south of the Saturn Parkway Interstate in south Spring Hill Tennessee. The community is well designed with major thoroughfares connecting all the side streets that are dedicated and arranged to accommodate like sized home plans. The central clubhouse and pool area is nearing completion. The sales center (near the main entrance) is part of a section dedicated to several finished and fully decorated model homes. There are several models ranging from the more modest square footage plans up to the largest plans available. The sales team is friendly, helpful and informative — but not overly pushy. There are golf carts available to the sales team to transport those requiring additional assistance. The online tools for this community are very robust and interactive allowing you to visualize home plan options. This specific 55+ community is part of a national brand with like-kind Active Senior Communities built throughout the USA — especially those states most attractive to retirees.

We just moved into our new home 3 days ago, but the community seems terrific. Quality of the build is excellent. Sales consultant AJ was wonderful, and Zac, the construction mgr, is aces! The only design problem we see is putting the furnace in the attic and two other filters in the 9' ceilings. Some handyman will have nice recurring business changing those filters for seniors who can't climb those pull down stairs to the attic, of take climbing a 6' ladder to change filters. This is why the 4 instead of 5 stars.
