We purchased a 71 year old house in our favorite town, and although the size was quite suitable for folks of that era, we needed more room. Since the property and location were ideal, we decided upon an upsizing renovation. A mutual friend recommended Mark and Madison Talley from TallArchitects, so we arranged to meet them to assess the possibilities. It didn’t take too long for this energetic young couple to respond with a call for a second meeting, for which they provided us a clear and concise plan to proceed, along with a list of 3 local contractors for our consideration without bias.A few short meetings later, we decided to award the project design contract to Mark and Madison, and for the contractor who was decidedly “can do” (I didn’t mention that the original house was 8” thick reinforced POURED 6500psi concrete (not cinder blocks!).The end result, after several revisits of our initial plan due to real-time challenges, is nothing short of MORE than we ever dreamed possible. We are now in our redone home, and not a day passes that we are not completely thrilled and thankful for the outcome. (Ask the Talley's to show you some pix of before and after!)The takeaway: We couldn’t have found a more ideal design team, and without hesitation recommend them to anyone who asks us, “HOW did you do this”?!!! Madison and Mark are incredible. Their ability to create unbelievable usable and aesthetic spaces was far beyond what we could have imagined. They were able to see a use of our yard and outdoor living space that we did not even know was possible. We use the porch that they designed every day. We are so grateful for their intelligent talent, they are fun to work with, they are kind, responsible, and dedicated. My only regret is that we do not have more projects to work with them on!

I have enjoyed my experience working with Mark and Madison so much. Their ideas are interesting and their vision is clear. They also work hard and fast to get you what you need. In my case, this included options for a environmentally friendly residence with a small footprint. I did not know I needed an architect when I started the process, but I'm glad I found them. Everyday I take notice of how much I enjoy living in my space and seeing it from the street

I have known Mark and Madison (owners of TALLstudio) for a little over a year and while I have only worked with them on a volunteer project, I can honestly say that they are some of the most creative and constructive minds around the Gulf Coast.
